As we were going into the pet supply place to get fodder for the ravening hounds, hordes of police and fire vehicles came screaming into the parking lot near Toys 'R Us. Apparently Panera, the new restaurant that backs up to it, had a fire in the kitchen. When we left I looked, but it hadn't burned down.

Oh, it was saved? Truly a loss to cuisine. But then, a boon for those needing jobs and wifi, the former of which is pretty damn important.
