Since we again have comfortably padded staffing at work, they put up the first load of Xmas decorations yesterday. Not the lights, but there is a tree teetering on top of the mini-fridge that itself clutters up the work area (removing it to the floor is forbidden since that has to be kept clear for heaps of boxes that wait up to a week to be unpacked), the first garland snaking its way up the pole carrying the wiring from the counters to the ceiling, and various cheery greetings propped atop shelves and affixed inside the fanlight. Ho ho ho.
