The amaryllis that were patiently waiting on the porch have been planted. Hopefully they will survive. The work of course caused the sky to clear to a brilliant blue - in which a single-engine plane droned overhead - and the temperature to leap up 20 degrees.

Unless horribly shriveled or rotten, they'll do fine. They're realy tough plants where they're hardy. I've got them planted pretty much in every Part Sun position as the local sub for Tulips....
