The berries on the catoneaster are yellowing; indeed one spray at the very top are already dark orange. The first immature acorns have been knocked off the oaks onto the sidewalk.
The Harbingers of Autumn are here as well; Goldenrod and Maximillian's Sunflower starting to bloom, the pitter-patter of Acorns, Pecans and Passionfruit as they hit the carport, the minefield-like look of the lawn from the Squirrels burying the Largess..... Cheers, Pat
