There tends to be a lot of activity on my way home. There are often both crows and seagulls milling around on El Camino in Santa Clara. A couple of days ago I walked to a further bus stop to take a few photos and watched them jockeying for position on the lamp-posts. The curved ones over the roadway seemed not to be interspecies-shareable; on the flat-topped ones in the parking lot in front of Petco, a crow and a gull could perch with adequate separation. Yesterday as I was walking from the bus, things - I trust fruits - were falling out of the trees all around me. Presumably the squirrels and more crows; I've been noticing more and more squirrels running around with things in their mouths lately. I would have thought that bus stop was closer to the Bay than the Santa Clara one, but I rarely see seagulls at that end of the journey, so it must be the other way round.
