It may not be actually freezing, but it's frosty in the mornings - temps in the 30s. So when the VTA decided to skip 2 buses and left me waiting on the bench for almost 40 minutes, I froze my tail.
Pretty much. There may have been a mechanical failure. There may have been a sick or overslept employee. There may have been some police problem earlier up the line. But they seem to have great difficulty realizing that people use these buses to get to work. And other places, such as a warm home on a cold morning. And they keep talking about cutting buses deliberately out of the schedule to save money - money they've wasted snazzy buying new ones to replace serviceable old ones that were used on routes they've discontinued - oh and on endless study of a project to run a dedicated bus lane up the middle of El Camino Real, which will be an absolute disaster and freaky expensive and tehy are determined to do it. Actually running buses so us schmucks can go somewhere - they can't be bothered.
