It is a tomato year. One of the plants that sprang from the compost has achieved a nice green and dark red fruit. And on walkies this morning I noticed that bed in front of the house the pagan lady was renting has two plants covered in green tomatoes, although I assume it hasn't been watered since she left over a month ago.
