This morning, walking home from the bus, I see the couple who fill the front yard with inflatables for Halloween have set them up. And one of the two families that like to have skeletons emerging from the lawn have their guy kicking his heels in the air, and a brain painted on his brainpan to tease the zombies. They also have a buzzard on the bench on the porch, 2 enormous hairy spiders in their little lemon tree, and either a large fake rat or a ginormous hairball in a tiny trap in a flower bed.

I love Halloween decorations. Not much on the inflatables but love the other stuff.

You gotta watch those hairballs, they'll get into the geraniums.
