We had a fine rollicking rainstorm last night, starting with light rain as I was making the trip to work, and lasting most of the night. Sadly I didn't get to see whether it thundered and lightened or hailed as the forecast warned it might, because I was too busy . . . including after 4 or 5 am moving racks out of the way of and a bucket under wandering drips from the ceiling. When I left this morning, there were heaps of clouds piled all over the sky like discarded bedding and everything had been scrubbed and rinsed. It was breezy and cool and less damp than inside the store, and snails were locomoting across the sidewalks in every direction.
