The dog deigned to sleep on me last night. It was a little encumbering, but nice to feel needed.

The housemate orders a lot from Penzeys spices. Possibly too much; she just received an order and then found a previous lot that she'd forgotten about.

Unpacking the recent box, she found they'd enclosed a sample pack of pepper seasoning with a message on the packet. (I inherited it, since I eat peppers.)
