The two guys who mosey past the house in flip-flops and shorts with their little dog finally moseyed past with the dog on a leash rather than scuttling after them of his/her own good will. After a good 18 months.
The park playing field, where dogs can be unofficially run off-leash, has acquired a group of a dozen people who meet at sunset for their dogs to play together. Many of the dogs in light-up neck circlets, glowing in pink and green. It's a nice idea, but I haven't seen them the past few days, and today there were only half a dozen, off a bit to the side; a large circle of girls practicing soccer dribbling occupied the middle.
