D.O.P.-T. (day before yesterday)

I had intended to cut the grass in the back yard, damp or not, but there was another rain shower, so it remains long and luxuriant. The year's first dandelions have stuck their heads out in the front yard.

More blossoms are starting to appear, and our magnolia tree is coming into bloom. There are new leaves on the ivy, usually my main cue for spring, but the great gingko trees, while studded with swollen buds, don't yet have the pale green fuzz of new leaves.
