I'll have to prune back a lot of the grapevine - only a tiny bit has been putting out leaves. Hopefully it will recover; we got enough bunches of grapes last year for the households on both sides of the fence to have several.

Apparently no Mount Hamilton Observatory April Fool's joke on the webcams this year, either. I didn't see one, and the gallery still only goes through 2013. There were a few good jokes on Wikipedia - and one that really should have been stopped - and I was sad I wasn't able to help control the added vandalism, since I'm out of Wikipedia now.

D.O.P.-T. (yesterday)

Got an e-mail over my weekend - HQ has decided to close the store at 2 am from now on. Massive chaos and confusion as to what our schedules will actually be and whether my hours will be cut. Decisions changing from day to day. Hard to know when to sleep, and to do so when the option is available. Customers are predictably also either confused or angry - many can't or don't read and didn't see or understand the sign, and we still have "24 hours" painted on the window in 6" letters; not that I haven't been fielding at least one query a night for years about when we close.
