D.O.P.-T. (Saturday)

The a/c at work has finally been fixed! Of course it had to be the night I wore a white shirt - I got a bit cold till the temp rose again from the 71 degrees it had been dialed to.

D.O.P.-T. (day before yesterday)

Whatever that tree in the yard behind ours is - the leaves are too long for apricots and the fruits are bunched - it is now lobbing a couple of ripe-looking fruits onto our lawn every once in a while, apparently on its own.

A big orange butterfly fluttered across the lawn yesterday as I was puttering out there, and one day last week at least 5 dragonflies were dancing over the round lawn in the park.

Got up too late and there was no time for walkies, so instead I played a little ball in the backyard with the dogs after the housemate left for work. Bear started sneezing violently and I could see the whiskers of the grass seed inside his left nostril, so I went after it with my fingers and luckily he is a very good boy and he let me extract it - it took half a dozen tries but hopefully I got it all out.
