D.O.P.-T. (yesterday)

The housemate likes Brussels sprouts. Her dog has an unaccountable liking for veggies - he steals broccoli off the chopping block - and so she sometimes buys a stalk of Brussels sprouts and when she's finished with it, gives it to him to shred in his chewing spot in the dining room. However, the current one got old in the fridge and he's not been as enthusiastic as usual in reducing it to tiny pieces all over the carpet. My dog took a few experimental snuffles at it and basically said, "He's nuts," but as it continued to lie there, he's started genuinely chewing on it. Perhaps purely for the jealous horror the action inspires in the owner.
