It didn't rain. There were five dandelions in the grass in front, and three oranges under the tree. And a guy up on the neighbour's roof, leafblowing. When he finished, Monty stretched out on a different roof, catching rays. There was a delivery in the evening, and when I opened the door to bring it in, Prudence looked at me in surprise. I don't think she'd been lying on it but who knows. She doesn't have the most acute mind.
