No rain today, so I did a little tidying in the garden, mainly weeding behind the garage and ramming in a couple more beanpoles in hopes I can get this year's crop of self-sown nasturtiums to climb them and not have to resort to strings. Monty and Prudence were on the roof-ridge of the neighbour's shed opposite the kitchen window; there's construction going on next to the shed roof that they used to favour in a different back garden.
Then in late afternoon the wind came up chill, the heating fired up, and I was glad I'd worn a heavy T-shirt big enough to be a dress.
