A very pleasant early summer day. Wore a T-shirt today, and I'm reinstating a summer watering routine. When I turned off the water at the end of one positioning of the hose sprinkler, I realised I'd just interrupted a hummingbird taking a bath in the spray. Sorry, birdie.

Prudence was on the porch at breakfast time, but I don't know whether she was responsible for the wet food vanishing by 10:30.
