No rain in sight—we have a "rex block". Meanwhile other places get blizzards. At least we don't have wildfires.
The housemate signed up for Costco. This involves a physical card, with photo taken at the store. So she carefully ate lunch before going, so she wouldn't be tempted to buy any groceries. Hah. A container of croissants that she would have refused to buy at our usual supermarkets because it's too large. A two-pack of sourdough loaves for me (I was getting low on bread.) Chinese dumplings. I stopped looking when she unpacked the assortment of mini choccy bottles filled with famous liquor brands, or emulations of them. Imagine if she'd been shopping hungry ...
