A little rain overnight (Los Altos recorded 0.04"), which dried up during the morning. No cat sightings, but food got eaten. I haven't seen any big Xmas lighting or inflatable displays this year, continuing the trend towards tasteful white fairy lights and small sculptures from last year. But I may be missing standout stuff on streets I haven't been down.

My weather app this morning threw out an alert that there'd be an accumulation of snow the next couple of days, totaling... 3.7 mm.

Not cm. mm.

Right. Well, I'm worried about my roof.

Wow. And such precision.

According to the National Weather Service, Los Altos got another 0.05" of rain in dribs and drabs overnight. I don't think that was forecast, but I'm glad of it.
