The fine winter grass is starting to grow by the back door again. I almost missed it because this year I've managed to keep that corner green, so the bright green threads are among other grass, not on bare earth with dead stalks. The oxalis is starting up in the side yard, too. Meanwhile the monstera is making a new leaf, and is bending towards the window so that it's harder and harder to close the curtains without hurting it.
And Monty came into the back porch to ask for food this evening. When I returned with the dish, Prudence was there too. But then she wandered into the garden while Monty ate almost the whole thing.
