It topped out at "only" 96º in the back porch today, rather than 99º. And they forecast only moderate ozone tomorrow. So maybe winds are expected tonight.

I finished the watering after dark, with a pause to provide requested food to Monty. He hissed at me pro forma but finished it all. So I am apparently quasi-forgiven for having witnessed his falling through the camellia bush. Lots of leaves knocked down.
