I've started to find dark brown puffball mushrooms in the garden, mostly but not entirely in the front, often after they have exploded with brown spore-powder. They look like dried poop. And I don't want our dog or passing dogs eating any of it. The only good thing is that the stalk is thick and firm, so they can be removed without too much mess except for the spilt powder.

Yeah except I'd look like I was Swiss, vacuuming the grass :-D

... plus I imagine some of the spores would happily blow out of a vent into my face, and some would coat the vacuum receptacle, which is no longer a bag one disposes of entire. Nature often beats tech.
