Prudence has been using the new cat bed on the porch in the evenings. And she was there at breakfast time. Otherwise, today has evinced a dearth of cats. Not even that cadaverous mostly black cat hanging about under a bush. We had workmen poking about this morning, and they are due back early tomorrow. Hopefully the cats will forgive me.
