Prudence appeared in the driveway, and in fact nipped into the back porch room when I opened the side door to give her food. Otherwise no sightings of cats today, probably scared by all the banging. The dog is calmer today, though she was extremely reluctant to go for any kind of walkies.

A neighbour stacked 3 box fans in their front yard several days ago with a "free" sign on them. It's been so hot, one disappeared on Wednesday and another yesterday.
