There was a pleasant breeze, so I got the poor dog back into the house and mowed the larger section of the grass in back. It was longer than I'd thought. Yesterday I took the loppers to a section of the catoneaster, so the greenwaste bin is now well filled for next week's pickup. Despite my best efforts, one big branch fell on the wrong side of the fence; I decided not to trespass in the neighbours' side yard to drag it out, but today I saw they'd poked it over the fence so it was snagged within reach.
