It may be time to put away my long-sleeved tops for the season, and even black and navy T-shirts. And change to summer sheets.
The monstera plant died back no matter what I did, so I finally parked it at the base of the fence where it would get sun much of the day but a bit diffused by the orange tree. It continued to die back, but 2 of the leaves, though they looked awful, never completely lost their green, so I carried on watering it with the potted geranium next to it. Today I noticed it's unfurling a new leaf.

I don't have an automatic sense of the weather here. I don't mean the daily stuff, I mean seasonal shifts. I keep planning on bringing all the cold weather stuff back to Montreal my next trip, then we have a day like to day, not COLD, but miserably chilly.
