So far so good: dog remained on my bed overnight and woke me in good time to salvage the newspaper after dispensing breakfasts. It was unbagged.
The orange tree is continuing to drop as many as 5 oranges a day, but sometimes none or only one. I also now have one or two a day to pick up and put in the compost that have been hollowed out by rodents. I fear it's rats, but the two husks that appeared under and near the car in the driveway I think are more likely squirrels' work.
