Last night the dog again demanded to go out in the early hours. And then she decided not to wait for me to turn in, but to go sleep on the housemate's bed. There she apparently expanded to the point that maybe half an hour later, I heard a noise and found the housemate had got up, turned on most of the lights, and was sitting at her computer because the dog had been such a pain in the side, it woke her up and she needed to unkink her skeleton. I found the dog stretched out blissfully on two blankets. I woke up this morning several hours late for dog and cats' breakfast, finding the dog fast asleep at my feet. Apparently the housemate finally kicked her out. I think I need to start putting my own fuzzy blankie on top of the comforter in the evening.
