More than ¾" of rain (in Los Altos). It had dried up by the afternoon. The dog let me oversleep again this morning; luckily the housemate brought in the newspaper. Prudence appeared on the porch in the evening, but instead of eating the food I was putting out, went around to the side door, found Monty, and they both licked their lips until I provided more food there.
