We got over a tenth of an inch of rain overnight. I saw the first light shower had started when I went out at about 2:00. Today has been a mix of sun and clouds, with a chill wind at times. But three or four of my purple irises are blooming in the sea of oxalis, Prudence was waiting for her breakfast, and Mama Violet let me top up her lunch.
