No sighting of cats all day, and I found a purple breakaway collar under the magnolia tree, which they use as a ladder. If the nice couple over the fence have adopted Monty and Prudence, I hope both will be very happy living with their servants. The lady is a cat whisperer; she managed to catch Stumpy so his tail could be attended to by a vet. But if they've been scared away by someone else's attempts, or if it was another cat that was terrified by getting caught up on the tree, I'll be terribly sad. I left the collar on the fence in front of the house in hopes whoever collared whatever cat will see it.
