I ran an errand on foot and passed a guy in a T-shirt barbecuing in his front yard. I felt a bit embarrassed to be wearing a fleece pullover myself, but the wind was cold enough that the dog had chosen only a very brief walkies.
This morning's Chronicle had a 16-page sports section entirely devoted to the Superbowl. The 49ers, however, lost. I don't think they had any injuries; just outclassed. As it should be. I wish nothing but bad for that team after what they have done to Santa Clara, and it's astonishing anyone in SF still supports them. I won't insult either weasels or pond algae by making the comparison.
