Just showers today. Los Altos' total rainfall for the two storms is more than 5". Wind gusts reached 40 mph. But the coastal range caught more rain and wind, and SoCal has been clobbered today as well as yesterday. Late last night I knew it was quieter when I saw Mama Violet had snuck up on the front porch to eat. Today I began the cleanup in the driveway and in front of the house; people who have cedars have more work to do, and in places the streets are carpeted with cedar bits. Today's oranges were blown down yesterday afternoon; just one today, but I have half a dozen in the crisper.
