This afternoon it was sunny, so I put my laundry on the line. That worked very well. As we came back from walkies, I could feel the first light rain drops; by the time the dog was unharnessed, the shower was well underway; just as I got inside the back porch with the rescued laundry, hail started hammering on the roof.

Los Altos has now received 1.66" in this latest round of rain.
