I'm looking at the patches of ankle-height grass and wondering whether there'll be a window when it's dry enough to mow before the next rainfall. Possibly I should just go ahead and mow and stop when it starts raining on me and the extension cord. (A neighbour who had fake grass put in a year or two ago has belatedly left a cordless mower sitting at the kerb for the taking, but I daren't even look at it too closely, scary thing.)
