The rain came a day early, in the early hours this morning (though not in Los Altos, the only place the weather service pays attention to); wind and light showers all afternoon. So here's a pic from late last night, of Pru and Monty waiting patiently for me to be done photographing the opossum:

Yup, especially little Pru, amazingly high standard of ferals around here. I only realized last night, another cat is peeping out from under the car; probably Forty, the long skinny scaredy-cat.
