The fence was finished yesterday, and the dog was wary enough of the goings on at that end of the yard that I let her resume lying out on the warm grass even before the concrete around the new posts had had time to fully dry. It casts quite a shadow; hopefully I'll still be able to have a small washing line in the months when the sun is higher.

The two largest geranium pots moved to the concrete behind the garage, with the potted tomato plants, chainlink fence in the background; night photo so as not to have the other house in the background.

New fence in place. The owner has planted ornamental evergreen trees on their side; the top of one, with its stake, can be seen through the trellis on the right.

This is going to be a gardening challenge. The view from the garage window is frankly depressing.

The largest potted geranium in its new home; I dragged it across the lawn to the corner under the orange tree. (The old washing line set-up casting a shadow is badly shaded by the tree, and the lines would go through the lower branches; but I'm still considering reviving it.)

Geranium cuttings from the great removal operation, some extracted from the chainlink. There are now a couple more from the dragging of the huge pot. Where to put those that develop roots ...
