2 weeks after my second shot, so we went to Safeway for the first time since March. We'd gone to our other grocery store once or twice in the next couple of weeks, but other than that, it was the first regular grocery run. They had some stuff I had expected them to be out of based on recent delivery problems—bread, regular Listerine, Jarlsberg wedges—but there was other stuff they either didn't have or had moved where I couldn't find it.
Monty was lying in his usual spot in the shrubbery when we took the car out, and was still there when we pulled in.

We're locking-down again. Florida currently has 20% of the nation's delta-variant strain. And, of course, our idiot Governor is ignoring it.

It was particularly nice to be able to get ice cream again; I will presumably start gaining back some of the weight I've lost. If only they'd had raisin bagels (I know, I was a terrible New Yorker, bagels should be absolutely plain and boiled to unchewable consistency); they always sell out of those first and I just managed to get three chocolate chip bagels (even worse).
