It's nice to be back to real time and able to water any time during the day, although the rain has usually arrived by now. And the kitties were a bit flummoxed by the cold this evening and I wasn't able to feed them as much as I like to.
There were a few trick-or-treaters early in the evening; I put up a sign that our porch light was only on for kitties. Someone in the neighborhood had a very geeky solution to Hallowe'en in the time of COVID: a ten-foot length of PVC pipe, with a stepladder at the high end in front of the porch and the low end poking over the fence: candy chute. He dressed as a doctor/scientist in a white coat, so I'm sure he also wore gloves.
