Yesterday a guy was power-sanding his old Ford van in the street. Without a mask. On a save-the-air day.
This morning I stumbled out of bed and after letting out and feeding the dog, took out kitten kibble and wet cat food (in my nightie, with my hair all over the place). Mama Violet was waiting very impatiently, and a kitten was also hanging out on the steps. As I gathered up the water bowls to change and refill, out of the corner of my eye I saw our long-suffering mailman approaching the driveway (wearing a mask and his summer pith helmet). I backed up hastily into the house. I'm sure he got run away from and hissed at. It was kind of like a French farce.
