I woke up at 7:00 and retrieved the newspaper in pieces from the sidewalk, then went back to bed. No sign of felines then, though when I ultimately got up, almost all the kitten food had been hoovered up and Mama Violet was demanding breakfast. When I walked the dog in the evening, I saw the play equipment in the park has been re-taped, and nobody was playing on it.
