When was the last time you went to a theatre or cinema?

We went to the Drive-in, up by Ocala, last year. Saw a movie that trelana had wanted badly to see. I forget the name of it.

Autumn 2019, went to a theatre to see a community theatre presentation of "Mary Poppins". A young friend was performing the role of Jane Banks.

I'm honestly not sure, but it may well have been in New York, in which case it was probably one of my friends' plays. I taught ESL for a number of years at a huge refugee agency that historically hired actors and other performers by preference as ESL teachers, so one of them became a niche movie director, another was a dance choreographer, many were having acting and cabaret showcases, and two formed a Shakespeare company, though it performed in the balcony of a Methodist church. But I also went to one of the first showings of Star Trek: Generations, the premiere of that absolutely awful 1990s Godzilla reboot, and The Tempest with Patrick Stewart, so I've seen the insides of two of the huge Times Square cinemas and one Broadway theatre.
