I fed both calicos this evening: Mama Violet was waiting for her dinner (causing the dog to bark out the window while the housemate was trying to fix something on my comp) and then when I went to dump the grounds from the two coffeepots into the compost, Ms Bella was staked out watching for ratties, so she got her own dins. She ate about half, then looked up at me doing dishes in front of the kitchen window, looked back at the compost heap, and went back to her stakeout.
