The catfood dish has been polished clean a few times recently, as well as knocked about a bit. This evening when I came back with the refilled water bowl, the food had already been half eaten, and I saw a feline tail disappear under the car. Then a hairy brown and white face appeared to the left of that and regarded me. I put down the dish and peeped through the front windows: a young grey calico was devouring the food. Maybe the same cat I've seen at dusk and taken for a tabby, maybe not. But not the owner of the face, so there were two of them under there. Happy to attract more rat-scarers, and not sorry for the crows, who can presumably get take-out trash again now. Meanwhile I hope Ms Bella continues to get fed, and will continue to give her her own meal when I see her somewhere that makes it feasible.
