It was actually the one sport I enjoyed. I want to say I was 8 when I and my brother started swimming lessons, but I'm not sure; I know we stopped before I got the hang of the crawl, so I've always been a breast-stroker.
From the age of 5 at the local swimming baths as we called it then in the UK. I was an extremely slow learner and eventually had to have individual tuition to master the basics. I can do front and back crawl and breast stroke but never mastered butterfly.
