and the answer is yes, sometimes I do. Although nowadays the media has changed, aka I got a kindle. My wrists aren't what they were and a kindle is lighter than a novel.
Yes, for the last several years a separate book from the one I would read on the bus and when the store was dead or when not wanting to stare at customers too obnoxiously. (Newspapers were better for the bus and the store, but there stopped being a free daily newspaper I could pick up at either end of my commute.)
