Steady rain this morning while we had a visitation from the home maintenance company; one of the team apparently vacuumed the equivalent of a Pekinese out of the furnace ducts. Then the sun came out for a little while and we had a pleasant walkies with the dog; the park was carpeted with leaves and twigs. At noontime I suddenly realized it wasn't just raining with gusto, it was hailing. Then I realized the manager had e-mailed me at mid-morning: no work tonight or tomorrow night, store closed for Thanksgiving. Well. So now I am drinking coffee.
