September 11 again.
Sitting here with the dog, waiting for (much needed) cleaners to come before I can walk her, while carpenters work on the outside of the house so I can't let her out in the yard. They replaced a missing panel on the side gate yesterday and now when I'm in the kitchen I occasionally hear a THUMP as Ms Bella goes over rather than through it. There are green plastic circular lids in various flower beds and one place in the backyard grass, where poisoned bait was inserted for the subterranean termites; I wonder when those will be removed so I can use the flower beds and remove the concrete I have piled on top of the one in the grass, which the dog can get at.
