I potted up two philodendron cuttings some weeks ago. One seems to be making it, but the other was outdoors and I moved it in in a big hurry when it appeared to be dying and the weather was forecast cold. It proceeded to go brown except for the very last few leaves. Now I note that there's new growth there, and new leaf buds have appeared to replace several of the dead leaves.
